Death Note: Killer Within – An Online Multiplayer Gaming Experience

In early October 2024, ratings were released for a new Death Note game by Bandai Namco. Now, the Steam product page for the online multiplayer game, Death Note: Killer Within, is officially live. Set to debut on November 5, 2024, this title will be available on PS4, PS5, and PC platforms.

Death Note: Killer Within takes inspiration from popular social deduction games like Among Us and Werewolf, featuring two factions that compete against each other. Participants can join the action in groups of up to 10 players. For those allied with L, the objective is to seize the Death Note from Kira and unmask their operatives. Conversely, players on Kira’s team need to eliminate L and secure the Death Note. Should a Kira agent manage to grab the Death Note, they have the power to target another player for elimination. Players can report incidents, gather testimonies, and vote in meetings to identify the character they believe to be Kira.
