The entire lineup of games included in Tetris Forever has been disclosed by its developer, Digital Eclipse. Additionally, an exciting new title, Tetris Time Warp, is part of this collection. Created by Digital Eclipse, this game will allow players to seamlessly transition between various Tetris eras during gameplay.

Most Tetris games featured in Tetris Forever were initially released by Bullet-Proof Software, with notable absences including the legendary 1989 Game Boy version attributed to Nintendo, which can be accessed via Nintendo Switch Online.

The announcement of Tetris Forever took place earlier this year during the Nintendo Partner Direct event in August 2024. This collection is part of Digital Eclipse’s Gold Master Series, a project aimed at preserving the rich history of classic games. In line with this objective, the collection will also bring forth documentary content and archival materials that encapsulate the legacy of Tetris. Previous collections from Digital Eclipse have included titles such as The Making of Karateka, Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story, and Atari 50.

Tetris Forever is set for release in 2024 on various platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
