The most recent trailer for Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds introduces players to Azuz, the Everforge, a captivating new city set in the Oilwell Basin. This exciting visual showcase features three new fierce monsters: Rompopolo, Ajarakan, and a mysterious entity known only as the Black Flame, reminiscent of Nakarkos from Monster Hunter Generations.
Kicking off the Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase on October 23, 2024, viewers are first introduced to a hunter alongside their team as they approach Azuz the Everforge. This segment beautifully showcases the vibrant city life before transitioning into the wilderness of the Oilwell Basin, where we witness an intense encounter with Rompopolo, a formidable Brute Wyvern that cleverly utilizes the oilsilt in its combat strategies.
Following this, the trailer reveals Ajarakan, an imposing creature engulfed in flames, exhibiting behavior akin to that of an ape. Klindering technology has confirmed this beast as a Fanged Beast, aptly thriving in its fiery habitat located in the Firespring.
The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene where the inhabitants perform a ceremonial summons of the Firespring, leading to unforeseen chaos that coincides with the emergence of the ominous Black Flame.
Anticipation builds as Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 28, 2025. Players who pre-order will receive exclusive items like the Guild Knight Set layered armor and the Hope Charm.
