Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D: Guidelines for Streaming and Sharing Content

Square Enix Reveals Guidelines for Streaming and Sharing Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake

Recently, Square Enix announced important streaming and sharing guidelines for the highly anticipated Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake. Players are welcome to share images and videos across social media platforms and personal blogs, provided these have a non-commercial focus. Additionally, broadcasting gameplay on streaming services like YouTube and Twitch is also encouraged.

Key Sharing Regulations

The guidelines stipulate that anyone posting images or videos must include a spoiler warning regarding significant plot elements. Square Enix specifically requests that players refrain from sharing content related to the game’s ending and post-ending sequences prior to December 13, 2024. This restriction covers moments from the final boss battle to the appearance of the end title card.

Restrictions on Cinematics and Music

Moreover, creators are prohibited from producing videos or playlists that focus exclusively on the game’s cinematics and narrative sequences. This includes content that features only background music from Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, as the intent should be to showcase actual gameplay rather than cinematic experiences.

Release Date Details

The launch of Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is set for November 14, 2024, available on various platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Additionally, fans can look forward to the release of Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake in 2025.
