The horror-themed fishing adventure Dredge will be arriving on mobile platforms soon, as confirmed by its developers, Black Salt Games. This exciting release is set for December 18, 2024, and will be accessible on both Apple devices and Google Play.
This mobile adaptation of Dredge promises to include all the core features that players enjoy on other platforms, complemented by a newly designed touch control system. Additionally, it will support external controllers for players who prefer traditional gaming. All downloadable content expansions such as The Pale Reach, The Iron Rig, and The Blackstone Key will be offered, though they will need to be acquired separately. Players can find the mobile version on the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android.
Beyond the mobile release, Black Salt Games is also bringing Dredge to MacOS. As outlined in the developer FAQ, this version will operate similarly to the standard PC game but will be enhanced with iOS crossplay capabilities. Apple users who purchase either the Mac or iOS version will unlock both platforms, thanks to a cross-save feature that allows them to seamlessly switch between devices while progressing in their game. However, these crossplay functionalities will not extend to other platforms.
Apple users will have the opportunity to access a demo of the horror fishing experience, although there’s no indication yet of a similar offering for Android users. Players can pre-order Dredge now on Apple devices, while Android users can expect pre-registration on Google Play to be available shortly.
Mark your calendars: Dredge is set to launch for mobile devices on December 18, 2024. The game is currently playable on multiple platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
