Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has rolled out patch 1.050, now available for download. This update not only enhances gameplay by introducing “Versatility Mode”for PlayStation 5 Pro users but also addresses minor bugs and boosts overall system stability.

Versatility Mode enhances the gaming experience for PS5 Pro players by allowing gameplay at a smooth 60 FPS. This feature ensures that players can enjoy the game’s visuals with the same high quality as the traditional Graphics Mode. The update significantly enriches the in-game rendering, especially during combat sequences and cutscenes, promising a more immersive experience.

Square Enix made the announcement for this patch in late September 2024. Accompanying the announcement was a tweet showcasing screenshots of the game, highlighting improvements in various settings such as battle scenes and narrative cutscenes.
