Ha Jung-woo “Two shots with Im Si-wan from ‘1947 Boston’? ‘I feel like I’m older’”

[Sports Korea Reporter Jo Eun-ae] ‘1947 Boston’ Ha Jung-woo expressed his feelings about showing his work.

On the afternoon of the 11th, a press screening and press conference for the movie ‘1947 Boston’ (directed by Kang Je-gyu) were held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance. Actors Ha Jung-woo, Im Si-wan, Kim Sang-ho, and director Kang Je-gyu attended the event.

On this day, Ha Jung-woo said, “While watching the movie, when I was caught on screen with Im Si-wan, I thought, ‘I guess I’m a little older.’”He continued, “In fact, I think Son Ki-jeong must have felt a sense of responsibility when he went on the Boston trip. During the Berlin Olympics. “I took responsibility for not being able to display the Korean flag, and I filmed it with only that thought in mind, and with the same mindset as actor Son Ki-jeong,” he said.

He continued, “Usually, when I take on a character, it starts with my body, soul, and mind, but since I don’t know the role of Mr. Son Ki-jeong, I consulted with the director to find out what kind of person he is. I created the character through many conversations with the director.”

Meanwhile, ‘1947 Boston’ contains the challenges and thrilling journey of marathoners to participate in international competitions wearing the Taegeuk symbol for the first time since liberation in 1947. It will be released on September 27th.
