With October now upon us, various games are rolling out seasonal festivities, and Sega has just launched the Halloween celebration for PSO2 New Genesis, complete with festive decorations, engaging activities, and themed costumes. This event commenced on October 9, 2024, and most elements will remain accessible until November 5, 2024.
Initially, players can look forward to a transformation in Central City, featuring Halloween-themed decorations and characters in costumes. A visit to this hub during the month will reveal a variety of spooky decorations. Additionally, Mags will sport a vibrant pumpkin-orange hue. When you approach Xiemi at the Seasonal Points Exchange Shop, you’ll find her dressed in a gothic outfit specially for the event. The Haunted Domain II Urgent Quest is currently active, and players can also partake in all Urgent Quests twice as a delightful “treat.”
This Halloween celebration also introduces a range of seasonal items for players to collect in PSO2 New Genesis. The AC Shop features C/Grand Dread Keeper II materials. Seasonal items can be obtained by exchanging medals through the Reward Box. Additionally, players who defeat 50 enemies in the Enemy Suppression activity will earn a Halloween Reward Box. The seasonal event encourages character customization, as the Salon service is currently free. Players can also enjoy the Halloween ’24 Special Scratch gacha, which is now available, along with the Monster Masquerade ’24 event showcasing gothic costumes and a Jack-o’-Lantern pumpkin seat, set to launch on October 16, 2024.
A new trailer highlighting the Halloween festivities and the first gacha can be viewed at the 3:32 minute mark below.
