Ironmouse, the popular VTuber from VShojo, has revealed her involvement in the English localization of Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, where she lends her voice to the character Dormouse. This character will serve as the shikigami companion to Vikala.
Dormouse is a unique shikigami designed to resemble a steel jaw trap. Players can expect to see Dormouse in action during various attacks executed by Vikala, notably in the Skybound Art move known as Gilded Heaven Strike. Additionally, Hayden Daviau has been cast as the English voice actress for Vikala, who is set to be the sixth downloadable content (DLC) character in Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising.

Simultaneously, Cygames has rolled out the Japanese voiceover version of the same attack footage. The character Dormouse will be voiced in Japanese by Satomi Koorogi, known for her role as May in the Guilty Gear franchise.

Players can find Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising available globally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Dormouse and Vikala will debut as a new DLC character on October 25, 2024. To access this character, along with the DLC, players must also download the version 1.60 update, which will be launched on the same day.
