Square Enix frequently unveils concept art for the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth installments through social media platforms. Their latest release showcases various dress designs for Cloud’s Wall Market appearance, drawing inspiration from the original FFVII game. Among the images is a small depiction of Cloud in his initial polygonal form, accompanied by eight alternative designs that were considered during development.
It should be noted that these proposed dress designs aren’t identical to the three options players can choose from during Cloud’s Wall Market segment in FFVII Remake. The most comparable design is the first one, which reflects the original lavender dress from Final Fantasy VII. However, players can also unlock a variant of this dress in black, grey, and white by opting out of quest completions. Additionally, the black dress on the far right shares some visual similarities with the dress earned by completing “Burning Thighs,” “A Dynamite Body,” and “The Party Never Stops” side quests.

Earlier this year, in July, Square Enix revealed concept art showcasing the simplest dress design for Cloud in FFVII Remake, and in November 2023, they presented another version featuring a blue corset.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is accessible on PS4, PS5, and PC, while FFVII Rebirth is exclusively available on PS5. Development is ongoing for the third installment of the remake trilogy.
