“Preparation is over” CRAVITY, hot youth song ‘Ready or Not’ [After listening]

Group Cravity (Serim, Allen, Jeongmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Taeyoung, Hyeongjun, Seongmin, Minhee) returned with a hot song of youth.

Cravity released their 6th mini album ‘SUN SEEKER’ through domestic and international music sites at 6 PM on September 11th.

This album is a new album released six months after Cravity’s 5th mini album ‘MASTER: PIECE’ released on March 6th. Cravity, who has proven their growth by achieving career highs in various categories with their previous work, released a double title song ‘Cheese’ in the pop R&B genre with a combination of rhythmic bass, beautiful harmonious synthesizer sound, and refreshing melody on September 1st prior to the release of the new album. ‘(Cheese) was pre-released to complete the comeback warm-up.

‘SUN SEEKER’ starts with the double title songs ‘Cheese’ and ‘Ready or Not’, followed by ‘MEGAPHONE’, ‘Vibration’, ‘9 o’clock’, It is filled with a total of 6 tracks, including ‘LOVE FIRE’. Woobin, Serim, and Allen were listed as lyricists and composers in the credits of many of the songs, making their hard work come to fruition.

The album name ‘SUN SEEKER’ means a person who chases the sun. Since their debut in the music industry in 2020, Cravity has persuasively continued their own youth narrative and provided comfort to music fans at home and abroad. Through this album, we expanded the narrative by covering you, me, and our lives.

While his previous work ‘MASTER: PIECE’ told the story of how each piece comes together to form empathy, through his new work ‘SUN SEEKER’ he sang about the lives of young people who find their own strength and individuality and achieve their dreams.. All nine members are afraid and anxious about falling behind, but if they find their own path and walk steadily, and if they respect each other’s individuality and light each other’s path, even if it is an unstructured path, it can be the right path in the end. I wanted to give.

‘Ready or Not’, which was selected as the title song, is a song that combines Cravity’s unique cheerful energy, young vibe, lightness and intensity. An up-tempo dynamic pop rock song that is easy to listen to is based on an addictive guitar riff. Cravity members Serim and Allen co-wrote the lyrics with danke (lalala studio). The song was composed by Hitmanic, DINT (HIGHBRID), EUGENE (HIGHBRID), OSKAR (HIGHBRID), and Chanyoung Lee.

Cravity said, “It doesn’t matter, ready or not/Burn the fire fire, all in/Jump in ready or not/Now in this trembling, ready set go/(Oh eh oh eh oh) feel like it’s going to explode/(Oh eh oh eh oh) The heart is getting loud/The preparation is over, get ready, here I go”, a song about the infinite love of youth who wants to achieve it by throwing everything, even if hardships come. The vocals, which fully emphasized the members’ individuality, blended harmoniously with the refreshing melody.

The theme of the music video released along with the song is also youth love. The nine members performed dynamically and showed off their energetic charm to the fullest.
