Release Date Announced for Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection Games

Konami has confirmed the launch date for the Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection, which features nostalgic titles from the Game Boy series, set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch and PC on February 27, 2024. Physical editions for Switch will also come with an exciting bonus.

Consumers purchasing a physical copy for Switch will receive a Harpie’s Feather Duster card as a bonus. Each copy will contain one of two variants, specifically the Quarter Century edition. It’s important to note that no similar promotion has been announced for the PC edition. This Spell Card allows players to eliminate all Spell and Trap cards currently in play by their opponent.

A total of eight classic Yu-Gi-Oh titles from the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance have been confirmed for inclusion in the Early Days Collection. The latest entries confirmed for this lineup are the three GBA titles: The Eternal Duelist Soul, Reshef of Destruction, and The Sacred Cards.

The collection will include the following titles:

  • Yu-Gi-Oh: Dark Duel Stories
  • Yu-Gi-Oh: Dual Monsters
  • Yu-Gi-Oh: Dual Monsters 2: Dark Duel Stories
  • Yu-Gi-Oh: Dual Monsters 4; Battle of Great Duelist
  • Yu-Gi-Oh: Dual Monsters 6, Expert 2
  • Yu-Gi-Oh: Eternal Duelist Soul
  • Yu-Gi-Oh: Reshef of Destruction
  • Yu-Gi-Oh: Sacred Cards

At the time of the release, only Yu-Gi-Oh: Dual Monsters 4; Battle of Great Duelist will feature online multiplayer capability. However, Konami has indicated there will be updates aimed at enabling this option for additional titles in the collection.

Mark your calendars for February 27, 2024, as the Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection will debut on the Switch and PC platforms.
