The following is the launch trailer for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, highlighting what fans can expect from this remake. It begins with an intriguing storyline about seven heroes who, in a twist of fate, become villains after saving the world. Players will guide the rulers of a kingdom as they strive to rebuild and restore their realm while preparing to confront the former heroes. If players encounter defeat or choose to step down, a new avatar will assume the role of emperor. As the narrative unfolds, gameplay elements featuring battles and kingdom management are prominently demonstrated.
Unlike the original Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven, which was exclusive to Japan, this remake and its subsequent versions are available globally. The first international release occurred when Square Enix launched the game on PS4, Switch, Vita, Xbox One, PC, and mobile platforms in 2016 and 2017.
Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven is set to launch on October 24, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and PS5.
