Nintendo has revealed that players can kick off their Halloween festivities early in Splatoon 3 with the return of the Splatoween Splatfest. This exciting event will commence in-game on October 25, 2024, concluding on October 27, 2024.
Although this marks a reprise of the previous year’s event from October 2023, the themes will differ. In 2023, participants were prompted to choose their favorite “best” friend among a zombie, skeleton, or ghost. The upcoming 2024 event, however, invites players to select a character class they would embody if they inhabited a fantasy realm. Players can choose from wizard, knight, or ninja. Shiver represents the “Wizard,”Frye stands for the “Knight,”and Big Man is promoting the “Ninja.”
Currently, players can also redeem Halloween-themed items from Splatoon 2 within Splatoon 3. To do this, simply power on the Nintendo Switch, navigate to the SRL News article in the News section, and proceed to the Lobby Terminal in-game to retrieve the four headgear items. (This process mirrors how items were obtained in the previous installment.)
For a visual reference of these items, you can check the official announcement showcasing the designs on social media.
