‘Korean American Special Exhibition: Korean Diaspora’ aims to provide an opportunity to look more deeply into the world of work by Korean-American filmmakers who have recently been active in Hollywood and to shed new light on their position in the American film industry. It was planned.

Steven Yeun, who attended the press conference that day, said, “I received a welcome that felt like my heart was connected,”and “I felt like I was coming home.”

Regarding his visit to Busan for the ‘Korean American Special Exhibition: Korean Diaspora’, he expressed his overwhelming feelings, saying, “It is an honor to be invited to a place where we can exchange culture and information,”and “It is nice to see the work created by Korean Americans being recognized.”.

Steven Yeun expressed his affection, saying, “Currently, Korean content is experiencing a huge revival, and I am happy about this fact. As a person who lives as a Korean American, it is comforting.”

He then explained, “I watched Netflix’s ‘Physical 100.’ Even though I live in a different country, there were points that I could empathize with.”

Regarding the ongoing strike of Hollywood actors and writers, he said, “I think it is a necessary time to protect artists,”and added, “I hope they receive a fair income and are respected in the industry.”

He added, “Actually, I have the privilege of sitting here,” adding, “But there are many writers and actors who are outside the safety net.”

Meanwhile, the 28th Busan International Film Festival will be held in the Busan Cinema Center area until the 13th.
