(Xports News Reporter Hyunji Yoon) Kim Nam-gil of ‘The Thief: The Sound of the Sword’ shared his thoughts on dealing with Winchester.

On the morning of the 19th, a production presentation for the Netflix original series ‘Thief: The Sound of the Sword’ was held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. Attending the scene were actors Kim Nam-gil, Seohyun, Yoo Jae-myeong, Lee Hyun-wook, Lee Ho-jeong, Kim Do-yoon, Lee Jae-gyun, Cha Yeop, Cha Cheong-hwa, and director Hwang Jun-hyuk.

‘Thieves: The Sound of the Sword’ is an action drama about people who come together to protect their precious people and their homes in Gando, a lawless land where China, Japan, and people from Joseon gathered in 1920.

Regarding his role as Lee Yoon, Kim Nam-gil said, “It is the leader of a group of thieves, and as the leader, he regrets and reflects on his past mistakes and finds out about his life. As a leader, it is his mistake to live by protecting his home and loved ones more than anything else.””I am a person who lives by thinking that I am reflecting on myself,” he explained.

Each group of thieves wields different weapons. Lee Yun’s main weapon is Winchester. Kim Nam-gil explained, “As we advocated the Western genre, the gun that could best express the era was the Winchester.”

He continued, “We paid a lot of attention to long take action in the series. It will be fun to watch long take action.” Kim Nam-gil also drew admiration by posing with a model of a real long gun, saying, “At that time, I thought it was a part of the body.”

‘The Thief: The Sound of the Sword’ will be released on Netflix on the 22nd.
