Upcoming DLC Fighter Choso Joins Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash
While Bandai Namco’s Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash may not have achieved the same level of acclaim as other titles in the anime fighter genre, it continues to evolve with fresh content. The latest character joining the fray is Choso, set to be released on November 21, 2024.
Details on Choso’s Release and Pricing
In contrast to the free addition of Kasumi Miwa in September 2024, players will need to purchase Choso. This character will be part of the expansive Shibuya Incident DLC. Although the exact price for Choso remains under wraps, previous outfit sets within the game were priced between $6.99 and $9.99, depending on the number of costumes included. Notably, the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death add-on released in May 2024 featured characters such as Toji Fushiguro, along with alternate versions of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, incorporating new costumes, a game scenario, and customization items. Unfortunately, the official roadmap published in May did not shed light on future plans for the Shibuya Incident DLC.
Choso’s Playstyle and Background
As of now, no gameplay trailer or screenshots of Choso have been unveiled. However, insights into his character mechanics suggest he will serve as an attacker capable of engaging both close and ranged opponents. Choso made his first appearance during the Death Painting Arc, alongside his brothers, Eso and Kechizu, both of whom are already available in the base game. His combat style prominently utilizes blood-based attacks, with his signature technique revolving around Blood Manipulation. Fans can expect Daisuke Namikawa to reprise his original voice role for Choso.
