In 2020, Qureate introduced gamers to an exciting escape game titled Prison Princess. Fast forward to 2024, and a highly anticipated sequel, Prison Princess: Trapped Allure, is set for release. Gamers can look forward to its launch on the Nintendo Switch and Steam on November 21, 2024.
The Steam product page for Prison Princess: Trapped Allure is now live, while the eShop page for the original game is currently available for Nintendo users. Unlike its predecessor, the sequel will be accessible on both platforms from day one, a shift from the previous arrangement where the PC version followed the Switch release. Players will once again assume the role of the ghostly hero who met his end in a battle against the fearsome Demon King Hamehameha. Even in the afterlife, players will assist in rescuing the princesses and allies from the clutches of the Demon King’s castle.
This installment introduces a new character, Julietta, joining returning favorites Aria and Zena. It is Julietta’s mysterious summoning that brings players to the castle. Meanwhile, Aria and Zena have found themselves captured again while attempting to confront the Demon King. Players will also meet allies such as Charlotte the knight, Finanche the mage, and Chouquette the bandit. As you navigate through the castle, your mission will involve exploring environments and solving intricate puzzles to reunite the three princesses and uncover an escape route. The official site has also unveiled several screenshots showcasing both investigative gameplay and fanservice elements.
Prison Princess: Trapped Allure is set to launch on November 21, 2024, for both the Nintendo Switch and PC. This Qureate title will be available in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, and both simplified and traditional Chinese.
