Cygames has announced that Vikala will be joining Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising as a new downloadable character on October 25, 2024.
In this iteration of the Granblue Fantasy fighting game, Vikala will utilize a variety of random projectiles during combat. Moreover, she’ll be aided by her shikigami, Dormouse, throughout her journey in the game. Her demeanor will also fluctuate depending on whether she is adorned with her signature rat ears.
Cygames has launched a dedicated character page for Vikala, showcasing her unique personal theme BGM titled “Welcome to the Parade.” Additionally, the studio has released her gameplay trailer featuring two distinct voiceover options. The version available on the game’s official YouTube channel showcases the Japanese voice acted by Atsumi Tanezaki:

Marking her presence as the sixth and concluding fighter in Character Pass 1, Vikala is not the ultimate addition to the game. During the Evolution Championship Series in July 2024, Cygames confirmed that Sandalphon will also be joining the roster. The designation of “1”in Character Pass 1 hints at the potential for a second pass that will introduce even more characters in the future.
Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising is currently accessible globally for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Players can look forward to welcoming Vikala as a new DLC character on October 25, 2024.
