Yajirobe Rebalance Update in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Game

Late October will see a new update for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, focusing on balancing Yajirobe among other enhancements. This update will also address adjustments to certain stages at lower difficulty levels, enhance the control responsiveness during online gameplay, and improve overall stability. This information was shared on the official Dragon Ball Games X (previously known as Twitter) account.

Check out the announcement below in English:

A key highlight from this announcement is the developers’ decision to adjust the balance of Yajirobe in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. Although he might not hold the title of the most popular character in the franchise—likely reserved for Goku or Vegeta, thanks to their numerous variations in the game—Yajirobe has managed to make a significant impact in the competitive gaming scene.

It’s not entirely unexpected that this update will involve modifying the difficulty levels across specific stages in the Episode Battles. While Bandai Namco hasn’t detailed which battles will receive these changes, many players have reported difficulties with the Ape Vegeta encounter.

Additional enhancements include more engaging controls during online play and various general improvements. However, Bandai Namco has yet to announce a precise launch date for this update, only confirming it will arrive sometime in late October 2024.

You can play Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Be sure to check out our review here.
