Hyundai Motor Company’s global best-seller, Tucson, has returned with a more sophisticated and powerful appearance.

Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the design of ‘The New Tucson’ for the first time on the 21st.

The New Tucson is a partially modified model introduced for the first time in three years by further enhancing the product competitiveness of the 4th generation Tucson, which was launched in September 2020.

The New Tucson inherits the ‘Parametric Dynamics’ theme contained in the existing model, and has been reborn with a more complete design through an exterior with a sturdy and wide image and an interior with a luxurious and high-tech feel.

The front part has a parametric jewel hidden lamp that acts as a daytime running light and detailed graphics of the radiator grill in a thin and angular shape, and a bumper and skid plate that extends left and right are applied to give a strong and spacious feel.

The rear part has a skid plate integrated with the bumper molding that has been expanded horizontally more than before, giving a wider and more imposing impression. It is designed with a sophisticated yet solid feel, creating a sense of unity with the front part and adding stability.

The newly designed alloy wheels on the side emphasize dynamism, harmonizing with the solid and sporty character line and improving the overall sense of proportion.

The new Tucson’s interior has a luxurious and high-tech image through changes at the level of a new car, while emphasizing a generous sense of space and practicality through a horizontal design-centered design.

Hyundai Motor Company is equipped with a ‘panoramic curved display’ that connects the 12.3-inch digital cluster and the infotainment system in a curved shape to increase driver visibility and enhance the sense of luxury. Physical buttons/knobs and a capacitive touch method are used. Ease of use has been improved by arranging a balanced infotainment/air conditioning control system.

A high-tech sensibility was added through a thin and long air vent from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat, and an open tray and ambient mood lamp were applied to the dashboard in front of the passenger seat to complete a design reminiscent of a comfortable lounge.

In addition, in the center space created by the application of a column-type electronic shift lever, a floating console that appears to be floating in the air was created to maximize storage, and a smartphone wireless charging system and cup holder were placed in parallel to increase space utilization.
