Nexen Tire supplies Rodian GTX tires for new Volkswagen Atlas vehicles

Nexen Tire supplies new car tires to global automobile manufacturer Volkswagen’s Atlas.

This time, the Atlas facelift model is a large SUV specialized for the North American market, and is the largest model based on Volkswagen’s latest platform, MQB. In addition, it has been redesigned with a premium interior using three rows of seats, cutting-edge driver assistance functions, and high-quality materials.

Nexen Tire’s Rodian GTX, supplied to Atlas, is an SUV-only product that not only has excellent braking performance, snow performance, and wear performance, but also provides a comfortable ride and optimal balance. In particular, it features enhanced wear performance through the application of a new next-generation compound that allows the tread block to withstand even momentary high load pressure and tire deformation.

In addition, the zigzag tread design that distributes pressure from the ground minimizes the phenomenon of momentary leaning, and enhances grounding performance that simultaneously complements braking performance on dry roads and performance on snowy roads, enabling more stable driving.

Meanwhile, Nexen Tire has been expanding its partnership with Volkswagen by continuously supplying new car tires to Volkswagen’s Golf, Jetta, Polo and Caddy.
