Small and cute… Will Ferrari’s ‘Baby SUV Purosange’ appear?

None

Will Ferrari launch a small, affordable SUV model to follow its first SUV, Purosange? As of now, the possibility is slim.

Ferrari is increasing sales and making large profits thanks to the success of its best-selling model, Purosange. Accordingly, some are secretly hoping that Ferrari will release a ‘baby crossover’ model, a lower model of the Purosange. However, we haven’t heard any plans for a Ferrari compact crossover yet.

However, nothing is impossible to the imagination of a digital virtual rendering artist. Recently, a digital rendering of the Ferrari Baby SUV was released on the Instagram ‘@kdesignag’ account. The model on which the Ferrari baby SUV in this virtual rendering is based is the Fiat 600, which is similar in size to the Jeep Avenger. The Fiat 600 is offered with hybrid and pure electric powertrains.

Ferrari created the Purosange, the first high-riding model in its portfolio, and was evaluated as “better than competing models in all aspects.” Competitive models include Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga, and Aston Martin DBX 707.

The Urus and Bentayga are based on the same platform as the Volkswagen Touareg, while the Aston Martin DBX 707 uses the Vantage framework. In the case of Furosange, it has a lot in common with the Roma Grand Tourer.

The Furosangue, which began production early this year as Ferrari’s most practical model, is equipped with a V12 and faithfully maintains the Italian brand’s tradition. The naturally aspirated engine has a displacement of 6.5 liters and produces 725 horsepower and 73 kg.m of torque. It boasts a 0-100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds, faster than the powerful Enzo Ferrari, and reaches a top speed of 310 km/h.

However, the Ferrari Purosange is a very expensive car. Domestic sales prices start at around 500 million won. Lamborghini Urus costs 290 million won, which is cheaper than Purosange.
