The most beautiful Defender open car appears “Best for travel!”
Land Rover introduced the latest and powerful Defender to the world three years ago. And over the past three years, the Defender has been transformed with numerous tuning parts and projects, attracting the attention of custom builders around the world.
Kahn, one of the biggest customizers of Land Rover models, was also fascinated by the Defender and created the Flying Huntsman 90 Spyder. The Flying Huntsman is based on the Defender 90, a three-door variant of the Defender.
The spider shape was completed by removing the original roof and replacing it with a removable canvas, and the rear section was significantly improved to remove the roof. As revealed in the initial rendering released by Kahn, the Defender’s straight back is transformed to match the name Spyder and the aspirations of a grand tourer.
There’s no word on whether any mechanical changes will be made to the Defender 90, but in this form changes are expected to be very limited. Only 8 units of the Flying Huntsman 90 Spyder vehicle are produced per year.
The first vehicles are scheduled to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2024, and all vehicles will be individually numbered. If customers choose bespoke, a custom wheel set option is also available.
The build cost has not been disclosed, but a waiting list is open and you can receive details by entering your contact information.
