Toyota Motor Korea announced on the 11th that it held the opening ceremony of the ‘Lexus & Toyota Electrification Training Academy’ at Ajou Automotive University on the 8th.

‘Lexus & Toyota Electrification Training Academy’ is an educational facility to cultivate professional talent equipped with Lexus and Toyota’s electric vehicle technology, and is an industry-academic cooperation agreement (MOU) signed in 2021 by Toyota Motor Korea and Ajou Automotive University. The facility was built with a total area of ​​247 m2 and a total of two floors. The first floor consists of a practice room with two workbays, a multi-purpose lounge, and a customer service practice space, and the second floor has a dedicated lecture hall with 40 seats. We provide students with an environment where they can learn both practice and theory.

In addition, a regular Lexus & Toyota electrification training curriculum is being conducted for Ajou Automotive University students starting from the second semester of this year. Students who complete the training will be supported with job placement so they can work at official Lexus and Toyota dealers, and those with top grades will be provided with a Japanese training program.
