He continued, “Fortunately, I think the few years were valuable and valuable times to refine and polish ‘1947 Boston.’ I realized once again whether it is necessary for a producer to interact, talk, and listen to the audience through various channels before releasing the film. “I felt and learned a lot. I ask for your continued interest. Korean films are lagging behind other countries in terms of recovery. I hope you will give me more strength,” he said, expressing his excitement about the release.

Director Kang Je-gyu is also a film director who is interested in historical facts, from ‘Taegukgi’ to ‘1947 Boston’. He said, “Among the movies I made, there were many that dealt with a significant period of time. I started to think about why I was like that, and I don’t know the exact turning point, but at some point, I started thinking that way.”That movie was canceled and I had to do another movie. Hollywood people filmed too many stories about the future. Ultimately, I think I thought that taking a good look at the past we lived in was a way to see the future. “As a result, I became more interested in precious footprints,” he said.

He continued, “Regarding running, I fell in love with running and marathons after watching the movie ‘Chariots of Fire.’ I thought that one day I would definitely make a running movie. As a result, I naturally became interested in teachers Son Ki-jeong and Seo Yun-bok.
