‘1947 Boston’ Ha Jung-woo “Im Si-wan, the marathon scene is great… Complete with full of emotions” [N Site]

(Seoul = News 1) Reporter Jang Ah-reum = Actor Ha Jung-woo expressed his feelings after watching Im Si-wan’s acting through ‘1947 Boston’.

At the press preview of ‘1947 Boston’ (directed by Kang Je-gyu) held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the 11th, Ha Jung-woo recalled the time of filming, saying, “Siwan worked so hard and felt like a real athlete.”

He continued, “I watched from the side all the time I spent preparing to play the role of Son Yun-bok, so my emotions naturally rose while filming the competition scenes,”and “I sincerely wanted to support him.”

He also praised, “The competition scene was filmed near Melbourne, Australia, and it happened to be filmed in the second half of our movie, so we completed the scene with full of emotion. I saw the finished version, and I think Seo Yun-bok will like it because it was so well done and expressed.”

Meanwhile, ‘1947 Boston’ is a film depicting the challenges and thrilling journey of marathon runners to participate in international competitions wearing the Taegeuk symbol for the first time after liberation in 1947, and will be released on the 27th.
