Im Si-wan expressed his affection for Ha Jung-woo, who worked with him on ‘1947 Boston’, calling him a “reliable older brother.”

Ha Jung-woo expressed his feelings about working with Im Si-wan for the first time at a meeting after the press screening of the movie ‘1947 Boston’ (directed by Kang Je-gyu) held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on September 11.

On this day, Ha Jung-woo said, “Looking from the side, I felt like he was putting in a lot of effort. He looked like a real athlete.”He added, “I watched the time actor Im Si-wan spent preparing to play this role from the side, so I was naturally moved while filming the competition scenes. “I think it came,” he recalled.

He added, “I saw the finished version for the first time today, and I think Seo Yun-bok will like it because actor Im Si-wan did it so well.”

Im Si-wan said, “It was my first time working with Ha Jung-woo, and I felt like I had met a dependable older brother. I relied on him a lot during filming. In the movie, it was a mentor-mentee relationship, but in reality, he was more like an older brother.”

Meanwhile, the movie ‘1947 Boston’, which will be released on September 27, is a story about the challenges and thrilling journey of marathon runners to participate in international competitions wearing the Taegeuk symbol for the first time after liberation in 1947.
