‘1947 Boston’ Im Si-wan “I live on chicken breast and my body fat percentage is 6%”

It was reported that Im Siwan recorded a body fat percentage of 6% while playing the role of a marathon runner in ‘1947 Boston’.

Im Si-wan spoke about the efforts he made in playing the role of marathon runner Seo Yun-bok at a press conference after the press screening of the movie ‘1947 Boston’ (directed by Kang Je-gyu) held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on September 11.

Im Si-wan, who said, “Of course the thing I spent the most time preparing for was diet and exercise,” said, “I lived on chicken breast and salad from the time I started filming until the end.”

He continued, “I also exercised every day. To make my muscles look firm, I tried to maintain bulging muscles by working out between cuts.”He continued, “My body fat percentage was 6%, and that wasn’t my goal, but I saw that number for the first time in my life. “It was amazing,” he said.

Meanwhile, the movie ‘1947 Boston’, which will be released on September 27, is a story about the challenges and thrilling journey of marathon runners to participate in international competitions wearing the Taegeuk symbol for the first time after liberation in 1947.
