[TV Report = Reporter Yu Bichwi] The movie ‘Aquaman 2’ released its trailer, announcing the return of Amber Heard.

On the 11th, DC released a new trailer for ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ (hereinafter ‘Aquaman 2’) through its official social network service. Previously, when the trailer for ‘Aquaman 2’ was not released for a long time, rumors were raised that the distributor had given up on promotional activities related to the film.

The ‘Aquaman 2’ trailer confirmed that actress Amber Heard will return to the role of Mera. It was also announced that the movie is scheduled to be released in North America in December.

The 30-second trailer briefly shows new scenes from ‘Aquaman 2’. Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman, appeared and was traveling above and below the sea. Patrick Wilson, who plays Orm Marius, also appeared. Amber Heard was listed as a cast member, although she did not appear in the trailer.

The first full trailer will be released on the 14th.

As distributor Warner Bros. postponed the release of ‘Dune: Part 2’ until next year, there was analysis that the release of ‘Aquaman 2’ would also be delayed. However, ‘Aquaman 2’ was able to be seen in theaters just before Christmas.

Last July, The Hollywood Reporter reported that ‘Aquaman 2’ went through an unprecedented three rounds of reshoots in the year and a half since filming ended. According to the media, reshoots have become common in big-budget films, but a third take is unprecedented in a film of this scale. Re-filming of Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson took place in New Zealand last June. It is not known whether Amber Heard participated in the re-filming.

The domestic release date of ‘Aquaman 2′ is unknown.

Meanwhile, Amber Heard has been on hiatus since her defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp last year. He was sued for defamation after exposing Johnny Depp for domestic violence and abuse.
