[BIFF] ‘Our Day’ Ki Joo-bong “If you go to Hong Sang-soo’s filming, the script will be released that day”

[SPOTV News = Busan, Reporter Kang Hyo-jin] Actor Ki Joo-bong expressed his feelings about working with director Hong Sang-soo on several works.

The open talk for the movie ‘Our Day’ (directed by Hong Sang-soo), which was invited to the 28th Busan International Film Festival, was held on the outdoor stage of the Busan Cinema Center at 2pm on the 6th. Actors Ki Joo-bong and Park Mi-so attended the scene that day. Director Hong Sang-soo and Kim Min-hee, who appeared as production director and actor, did not attend.

Ki Joo-bong, who went on stage that day, said, “‘Our Day’ had a very three-dimensional feel. I also saw it at Cannes and saw it a second time.”

Park Miso then expressed her thoughts, saying, “I saw the movie for the first time yesterday, and it was a fun and touching movie that made me laugh and cry a lot.”

Regarding the differences between director Hong Sang-soo’s film and other scenes, Ki Joo-bong said, “Unlike other films, director Hong Sang-soo goes without thinking that day and the script for that day comes out. It contains all the thoughts that need to be done that day, the tension, and what was not prepared in advance. “There are difficulties in expressing it. Still, I feel a great sense of being alive on set,” he said.

In addition, Park Miso, who appeared in four films in a row by director Hong Sang-soo, said, “I also filmed several of the director’s films, and each time I did it, it was something new. I was always excited and when I saw the results, I kept realizing and discovering new aspects of myself. “It felt good to do it,” he said.

Meanwhile, ‘Our Day’, director Hong Sang-soo’s new and 30th work, is a story about a woman who dreams of becoming an actor and a man who dreams of becoming an actor, who find a man they know and ask him questions about life, wisdom, and how to live. It will be released on October 6th.
