‘Family Glory: Returns’, which not only failed at the box office but also received harsh reviews from critics, is heading to the small screen.

On the 6th, the movie company announced, “We will begin simultaneous theater VOD service through IPTV, digital cable TV, online, and mobile.”

The movie, which was released on the 21st of last month, is a comedy depicting the Jang family’s grand plan to achieve a life-or-death marriage by conspiring all kinds of schemes to get the popular star writer ‘Daeseo’ and the family’s youngest daughter ‘Jin-kyung’ to marry.

The ensemble of the original cast, actors Kim Soo-mi, Tak Jae-hoon, and Jeong Jun-ha, and the new cast members, Yoon Hyun-min and Yura, made their appearance at Chuseok theaters, but were ignored by the audience. Individualists Go Yoon, Ki Eun-se, Kim Hee-jung, and Seo Hyo-rim also joined, but it was not enough.

The film’s break-even point was about 1 million viewers, but it was released after only mobilizing a final cumulative audience of 164,599.

Starting today, the movie will be available on IPTV (KT Genie TV, We Btv, LG U+TV), cable satellite (Home Choice, KT Skylife), Naver Series On, Google Play, Cinefox, Wavve, Coupang Play, and Watcha (It can be found on various platforms such as WATCHA) and Webhard.
