[Exclusive] Seventeen Seungkwan, Mnet ‘Build-up’ Sortie confirmed… Selection of special judges

[Edaily Starin Reporter Kim Hyun-sik] Group Seventeen member Seungkwan (real name Boo Seungkwan) will contribute to Mnet’s new program ‘Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Build Up’).

As a result of Edaily’s coverage on the 16th, Seungkwan was confirmed to appear in ‘Build Up’. He will appear as a special judge and join the program. Seungkwan has been active as Seventeen’s main vocalist since 2015, showing off her singing skills.

‘Build Up’ is a survival program that depicts the process of selecting members to function as a four-member vocal boy group. It is co-produced by CJ ENM, Orca Music, and Genie Music.

The judges include SG Wannabe’s Lee Seok-hoon, BTOB’s Seo Eunkwang, Red Velvet’s Wendy, MAMAMOO’s Solar, Baekho, and Kim Jae-hwan. The MC is actress Lee Da-hee.

‘Build Up’ will premiere on the 26th at 10:10 PM. It is broadcast simultaneously on Mnet and tvN. In this program, Pentagon’s Yeo One, CIX’s Seunghoon, Ace’s Lee Dong-hoon, Up10tion’s Seonyul, ‘Boys Planet’ former member Jay Chang, and ‘Youth Star’ former member Jeong Soo-min took on the challenge.
