(Xports News Reporter Seunghyun Oh) Japanese two-member band YOASOBI will appear on ‘M Countdown’.

Yoasobi announced on the 19th through its official account that it will appear on Mnet’s music program ‘M Countdown’, which will be broadcast on the 21st. An Mnet representative also told Xports News, “It is true that Yoasobi is appearing on ‘M Countdown’.”

Yoasobi (Ayase, Ikura) is a two-member mixed group that received a lot of love in Korea for singing the OST of the popular animation ‘My Favorite Child’ and boasts a large fan base with the concept of turning novels into music.

Yoasobi, who also raised awareness in Korea with the ‘Favorite Child’ challenge, also expressed interest in K-POP by mentioning girl groups IZone and Mamamoo. As the Korean Wave craze sweeps Japan, attention is focused on the visit of Yoasobi, who boasts unrivaled popularity.

Meanwhile, Yoasobi defeated Ive, (G)I-DLE, and Le Seraphim last July to take first place in the domestic YouTube music rankings.
