Endo Mai (35), a former member of the Japanese girl group ‘Idoling’, revealed that she had been sexually harassed by an idol industry official.

According to foreign media such as Japanese media J-Cast News on the 20th, Mai Endo attended a gathering after being invited by an acquaintance during her idol activities. He claimed that he was pushed into a taxi by an acquaintance while he was returning home.

After the incident, Mai Endo reported the damage to her boyfriend, who she was dating, but her boyfriend instead blamed Mai Endo for being careless.

Mai Endo said through the media, “She was not sexually assaulted, but after she was molested, she took a long bath in hot water and washed her body to the point that she bled. “If she has been sexually assaulted, she will immediately report it to the police and obtain her evidence,” she emphasized.

He then said, “When I was harmed, accusations like ‘MeToo’ were not as common as they are now, but in the recent trend, I have been able to tell such stories. “I know that one’s voice can easily be broken by power or pressure,” she said.

She continued, “A person I know reported it and was forced to leave the company. However, as the saying goes, ‘There is nothing to be afraid of when everyone crosses the red light together,’ I belatedly confessed to being a victim of sexual harassment, saying, “I gained courage after seeing someone else report, so now I can finally speak out.” The reason for this was revealed.
