‘Hyena’, Japanese remake to be released in October… Shinohara Ryoko
(Xports News Reporter Lee Chang-gyu) The SBS drama ‘Hyena’, which attracted attention with the appearance of Kim Hye-soo and Ju Ji-hoon, will be remade in Japan.
On the morning of the 11th, TV Tokyo announced the broadcast of the remake version of ‘Hyena’ on its official website.
According to them, in the original work, Jeong Geum-ja (played by Kim Hye-soo) was played by Ryoko Shinohara, and Yoon Hee-jae (Ju Ji-hoon) was played by Ikusaburo Yamazaki.
Previously, Hye-soo Kim played the role of Miss Kim, the counterpart to Haruko Omae, played by Ryoko Shinohara, in ‘God at Work’, a remake of the drama ‘The Dignity of Dispatch’ in which Ryoko Shinohara appeared. The two met each other for the first time in 10 years. I got to play a character in the work.
‘Hyena’, which aired in February 2020, depicts the bloody survival story of lawyers representing the top 1% of the high class, and ended with a highest viewership rating of 14.6%.
After it ended, it was listed on Forbes’ list of the best Korean dramas of 2020.
Meanwhile, the remake version of ‘Hyena’ will be broadcast for the first time at 8 PM on October 20th, and the first episode will be extended by 10 minutes.
