Actors Ahn Jae-hong and Lee Som transform into a sexless couple. ‘LTNS’, which tells the story of an honest and bold couple, visited the 28th Busan International Film Festival.

On the afternoon of the 6th, the ‘LTNS’ (Long Time No Sex) open talk was held on the outdoor stage of the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan. Actors Ahn Jae-hong, Lee Som, director Jeon Go-woon, and director Dae-hyeong Lim attended the scene that day.

TVING’s original series ‘LTNS’ is a comedy series in which a couple whose relationship has become estranged due to life’s stress begins to blackmail an adulterous couple to make money, and in the process, confronts their already ruined relationship.

‘LTNS’ was invited to the ‘On Screen’ section. The On-Screen section is a section that presents hot series scheduled to be released on OTT platforms. On this day, Ahn Jae-hong said, “I was happy to work with the directors and actor Lee Som, and I am truly honored that you invited me to the Busan International Film Festival. I hope you will support me a lot.”

Lee Som and Ahn Jae-hong play a married couple who have been married for five years and have no home, no children, and no relationship. Following the two people’s perspectives, the love and marriage lives of various couples will unfold in an episode format.

Jaehong Ahn, who played Woojin’s husband and taxi driver Samuel Im, said, “He is a friend who needs personal time and personal space. He introduced the character by saying, “A taxi is your own unique space.” He continued, “I wear sunglasses and gloves. “The moment he drives, he feels alive,” he added.

Regarding the work, he said, “I wanted to capture minimalistic yet realistic moments. “The more you empathize with it, the more fun it will be,” he said, adding, “I think it captured real moments, especially because I acted with Lee Som.”

Lee Som played Woojin, who works as a hotelier. Regarding the character, Lee Som said, “MBTI is ENTJ. He is an instinctive and goal-oriented character. “She and Jaehong played a couple in ‘Little Princess’ and we also met in her brother’s short film,” she said, adding, “This is our third couple role.”

She continued, “This really felt like I was getting to know her brother. We appear as a couple and there is a lot of skinship. “She was able to film comfortably because her co-star was Ahn Jae-hong’s brother,” he added.

She said that Lee Som could look forward to a skinship scene with Ahn Jae-hong, which drew attention. She said, “The idea was, if you’re going to do it vaguely, don’t do it, but if you’re going to do it, do it hot. “I think she ignited passion during the skinship scene,” she explained.

Director Jeon Go-woon, who was in charge of directing, worked with Ahn Jae-hong and Lee Som on his previous film, ‘A Little Princess’. Director Jeon said, “Woojin and Samuel are a sexless couple. Because it is difficult to make a living, he ends up making money by chasing down adulterous couples. “Ironically, as the time spent together increases, we look back on our relationship and various events occur,” he said.

Director Jeon also expressed his gratitude to the actors who appeared. He said, “It must have been difficult for the actors to decide to appear because the level was so high. “He burned us to the point where we stopped,” he said. “If we only thought about this much, he suggested a higher line. There were many times when we felt like we were free riding due to such situations. In conclusion, I think I have become much deeper as an actor than I was in ‘Little Princess.’”

TVING’s original series ‘LTNS’ is scheduled to be released on TVING in December.
