Actor Im Si-wan revealed that he ate only chicken breast and devoted himself to exercise to play the role of Seo Yun-bok.

On the afternoon of the 11th, a media preview and press conference for the movie ‘1947 Boston’ (directed by Kang Je-gyu) was held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Actors Ha Jung-woo, Im Si-wan, Kim Sang-ho, and director Kang Je-gyu attended.

On this day, Siwan said, “The most important things were diet and exercise. I started receiving the training that real athletes receive three months before filming. I lived on chicken breast and salad from preparation to completion, and I had to exercise every day.”said.

He said, “The muscles had to look solid and not look worn out, so I tried to maintain muscle bulge by exercising in between cuts.” “It wasn’t my goal, but I tried to resemble Seo Yun-bok’s appearance. In the process,” he said. “My body fat was 6%. I was amazed to see 6% for the first time in my life,” he said.

‘1947 Boston’ is a work depicting the challenges and thrilling journey of marathon runners to participate in international competitions wearing the Taegeuk symbol for the first time after liberation in 1947. It will be released on the 27th.
