Actor Lee Si-gang fills Kim Jin-woo’s place.

KBS 2TV’s daily drama ‘Elegant Empire’ (written by Han Young-mi/directed by Park Ki-ho) announced on September 11 that, after thorough discussion with the production team, actor Kim Jin-woo had withdrawn from the production due to personal reasons, and Lee Si-gang had been cast as Jang Ki-yoon.

Lee Sikang, who played the role of Jang Ki-yoon as Kim Jin-woo’s successor, has shown outstanding acting skills in various fields such as movies, plays, and musicals, as well as dramas such as ‘The Secret Man’ and ‘My Life’.

It has been 6 years since I worked with writer Han Young-mi, who is writing ‘Elegant Empire’, since ‘Happy Sisters’ in 2017.

Lee Si-gang said through his agency, “I am happy to join ‘Elegant Empire’. I will prepare hard and do my best to show good acting.”
