Recently, the Korean Music Copyright Association (Chairman Chu-yeol Chu, Haneum Music Association) and YouTube announced that they will hold a song camp with the goal of nurturing and discovering domestic creators. The event is scheduled to be held in November.

This event, named ‘Healing Song Camp’, provides participants with the opportunity to escape from the city and work with fellow creators in nature for 3 days and 2 nights, including networking parties with industry insiders and lectures on YouTube creator activities. Various programs are also held together.

The Korean Music Association said, “We plan to provide opportunities for new artists to collaborate with publishers, entertainment companies, etc. to jointly create songs that can be actually sung and distributed,”and added, “All team members will work together until the process of promoting the song to the world through YouTube.””We plan to make it possible for you to experience it,” he said.

YouTube said, “YouTube will work closely with the Korea Music Copyright Association as a partner that supports and supports the global success of Korean music.”He continued, “We will continue to support Korean music creators so that they can grow further and lead global trends.”

Those who wish to participate in the Song Camp can apply on the Korean Music Association website from September 29th to October 10th. Associate members of the Haneum Music Association can freely apply to participate in Song Camp, and creators who are not members of the Haneum Music Association can also apply after joining the association.

Meanwhile, the Haneum Music Cooperative is Korea’s largest copyright trust management organization that manages music copyrights, and is responsible for collecting and distributing copyright fees on behalf of copyright holders. All copyright fees collected by the Haneum Coffee Association, excluding fees, are distributed to copyright holders, and this organization’s fee rate is the lowest among copyright trust organizations around the world. Nevertheless, the Korean Music Association is taking the lead in establishing a fair and transparent copyright fee collection and distribution system, and is carrying out various public interest projects for its members and the music industry as a whole.
