‘Lovers’ Ahn Eun-jin “Nam Goong Min ‘If you pretend, you pretend’… “I want the best couple award.” [Interview M]

Actress Ahn Eun-jin expressed her gratitude to Namgoong Min, her senior, with whom she acted together in ‘Lovers’.

Recently, Ahn Eun-jin conducted an interview with iMBC Entertainment at a cafe in Seocho-gu, Seoul to commemorate the end of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘Lovers’ (written by Hwang Jin-young, directed by Kim Seong-yong).

‘Lovers’ is a human history melodrama that deals with the love between lovers and the vitality of the people as they go through the Manchu War. Namgoong Min, Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Hak-ju, Lee Da-in, and Kim Yun-woo appeared.

Ahn Eun-jin plays the role of Yoo Gil-chae, a daughter of a good family who grew up in Neunggun-ri. She is a character who gradually changes from a lovely woman to a strong woman as she experiences the devastation of the Horan War.

‘Lovers’ broke its own record with a final episode viewership rating of 12.9% (based on Nielsen Korea households nationwide). The last episode ended with Nam Goong Min and Ahn Eun Jin embracing each other in a sad way, having overcome the danger of death and reunited after a long journey.

Her chemistry with Namgoong Min, who played Lee Jang-hyun, was excellent. “It was halfway through that we were able to rehearse and film right away. At the end, while filming on set, he recalled, “If you pretend, you pretend.”

Eunjin Ahn said, “Senior Namgoong Min has his own ideas. I later realized that he was asking, “Eunjin, why don’t you try something like this?” “After all, my senior was my senior,” she said, laughing.

At the same time, when I expressed my concern, “I don’t know if it’s right to express it this way,”he gave me a very insightful answer and gave me advice. Because my senior partner was so solid, I had faith that the scenes I acted in would always come out perfectly. “She acted with ease,” he said.

At the Drama Awards to be held at the end of this year, he and Namgoong Min will win the ‘Best Couple Award’ I expect to win an award. “I’m greedy. The combination of the characters was good, but so was the acting. “I want it,” he said, making people laugh.

‘Lovers’ depicts the heartbreaking love of lovers and the vitality of the people in detail against the backdrop of the historical event of the Manchu War. Writer Hwang Jin-young increased her immersion by layering the emotional lines of attractive characters in her dramatic story.

‘Lovers’, in which Ahn Eun-jin’s vitality shone brightly, ended on the 18th with episode 21.
