According to reports, two men living in New York, Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden, were killed at 8:30 p.m., the scheduled time for Madonna’s Celebration tour concert held at the Barclays Center in New York on December 13 last year. Instead, he claimed that it only started at 10:45 p.m.

They claimed that because the concert ended at 1 a.m. past midnight the next day, they were unable to use public transportation and it was difficult to use ride-hailing services, so transportation costs increased significantly, and they claimed an unspecified amount of damages from Madonna and the performance agency.

They added that because this happened on a weekday, it was a big disruption to going to work the next day and taking care of their families.

They accused Madonna and the performance agency of violating the contract regarding the start time of the concert, calling it “unconscionable, unfair, and deceptive business practices.”

They also asked the court to treat this lawsuit as a class action, saying that similar incidents occurred at other regional performances during Madonna’s tour.

Previously, Madonna was hospitalized with a serious bacterial infection in June last year and postponed her concert schedule once before starting in October.

ABC reported that Madonna has been subject to similar lawsuits several times in the past.

A man living in Florida filed a lawsuit in November 2019, claiming that Madonna started her concert two hours late, preventing him from attending the concert, but withdrew the lawsuit a month later.

Also, in February 2020, two audience members at Madonna’s concert filed a lawsuit claiming that the performance was delayed by more than two hours, but the case was settled with a settlement five months later.
