‘Deadman’ is the debut film of director Ha Jun-won, who co-wrote ‘Monster’ with director Bong Joon-ho. It gathers curiosity by choosing a unique subject called ‘Baji Boss’. Director Ha Jun-won said, “People live with names. It felt like I was witnessing people not taking responsibility for their own name. As a director and writer, I felt a sense of the problem and thought it would be a good idea to address it through a story, as I watched various incidents where a problem occurred and the agent took responsibility instead of the person responsible for the problem. If I were to tell a fun story with a popular story, I was wondering what keywords there would be, and Bajijang is a familiar word, but it is also a subject that I haven’t encountered much. “I did it because I thought it would be harmonious when the person selling the name is associated with that topic,” he explained.

It was a drama in which I appeared in a small role. It was a short moment, but it left a deep impression. At that time, I called the CEO of our film production company and looked up his name. There is an actor named Cho Jin-woong, and later we said that we must remember that name and that the day will come when we will work with him in the Korean film industry.
