‘Let’s get grabbed by the collar’ The script reading scene was revealed.

KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Let’s Get Caught by the Collar’ (directed by Lee Ho, Lee Hyun-kyung / written by Bae Soo-young / produced by Monster Union, Production H), scheduled to be broadcast for the first time in March, is a series of stories about a reporter catching bad guys by the collar and a detective from a violent team handcuffing bad guys. It is a melodrama chase thriller where you fall into a huge whirlpool while tracking a murder case together. This work is based on the Naver series of the same name, ‘Oanneu – Let’s Get Caught by the Collar’ (author New Luck), which won the grand prize in the web novel category of the ‘2020 Greatest Contest on Earth.’

At the script reading site, all the actors and production crew who would lead ‘Let’s Get Caught by the Collar’ were present. Director Lee Ho and writer Bae Soo-young, as well as Kim Ha-neul (as Seo Jeong-won), Yeon Woo-jin (as Kim Tae-heon), Jang Seung-jo (as Seol Woo-jae), Jeong Woong-in (as Chairman Seol), Yoon Je-moon (as Mo Hyeong-taek), Han Chae-ah (as Yoo Yun-young), and Jeong In-gi (as Kang In-han)), Kim Min-jae (playing Joo Young-seok), and other actors who played major roles in the work all attended.

As soon as the script reading began in a friendly atmosphere, the actors immediately immersed themselves in their roles and showed perfect synergy with excellent chemistry. It is said that the actors had constant smiles on their faces throughout the script reading.

Kim Ha-neul fell in love with the role of Seo Jeong-won, a ‘professional assassin’ reporter who is united by a strong sense of justice for the people’s right to know, and gave a captivating performance. In particular, Kim Ha-neul vividly portrayed the characteristics of a female character who wanders around the scene of the incident, making sarcastic remarks, and fighting with her whole body against the trials that come her way.

Yeon Woo-jin, who played the role of Kim Tae-heon, the ace detective of the violent crime team who handcuffs bad guys, stuck to Kim Tae-heon, who is deep and strong on the inside but has a boyish, perverse style in his actions. Yeon Woo-jin enlivened the script reading scene by expressing Kim Tae-heon, a passionate detective who does not give up, through acting using tone of voice, facial expressions, and gestures.

Jang Seung-jo, who played the role of Seol Woo-jae, a second-generation chaebol novelist and Seo Jeong-won’s husband, was impressed by perfectly embodying Seol Woo-jae’s sweet and gentle side. In addition, Seol Woo-jae’s lonely and deep emotions, who have a dark abyss unlike his warm smile, were sublimated into Jang Seung-jo’s delicate and stable acting.

Meanwhile, veteran actors such as Jung Woong-in, Yoon Je-moon, Han Chae-ah, Jung In-ki, and Kim Min-jae also gave passionate performances based on their unique and solid acting skills, adding dramatic completeness and richness with energy reminiscent of an actual filming site.

After completing the script reading, Kim Ha-neul said, “I felt like the chemistry was stronger because the characters I had only imagined actually appeared and acted together,” and Yeon Woo-jin expressed his anticipation by saying, “I felt like I was reading a mystery novel.” Jang Seung-jo also said, “I think it will be fun to finish reading the script. “I will work hard to prepare well,” he said with excitement.
