[OSEN = Reporter Choi Na-young, Reporter Jang Woo-young] Actor Park Eun-soo was investigated by the police for being involved in a case of using a lost card. Park Eun-soo and his wife strongly deny the allegations, making different claims, while the police investigation continues.

According to OSEN’s coverage on the 6th, Park Eun-soo was recently investigated at the Gwangju Police Station in Gyeonggi-do in relation to the lost card incident. That’s because she is accused of obtaining and using a lost card last summer.

Since a card lost by someone is property outside of that person’s possession, taking the card itself is a crime of embezzlement of property out of possession, and using another person’s lost or stolen credit card is Article 70, Article 1 of the Specialized Credit Financial Business Act. It is a crime to use a credit card illegally as stipulated in this section, and if you use it at a card merchant to purchase goods, it is a crime of fraud under the criminal law. Additionally, if you use money or cards you pick up on the street, you may be sued or criminally charged because it is considered embezzlement. Additionally, according to Article 70 of the Credit Financial Business Act, anyone who sells or uses a lost or stolen credit or debit card may be punished by imprisonment for up to 7 years or by a fine of up to 50 million won.

Park Eun-soo denied the allegations. In a phone call with OSEN, he said, “I didn’t have a card so I was using my wife’s card. I used it thinking it was my wife’s card, but (later) I found out it was someone else’s card. Afterwards, he reported it to the police and returned all expenses incurred. “The police investigation has also been completed,” he said. Also, when asked by OSEN whether she had reached an agreement with the victim after receiving the investigation, Park Eun-soo responded, “I know that.”

Park Eun-soo responded to the effect that she believed the case was closed, but the police investigation is still ongoing. The police informed OSEN that “the matter is still under investigation” and that the case has not yet been sent to the prosecution. He declined to comment on any other details.

Among these, Park Eun-soo’s wife made a different claim from Park Eun-soo, saying that she, not her husband, acquired the card and reported it herself.

Park Eun-soo’s wife said in a phone call with OSEN, “I was the one who acquired the lost card and the one who reported it.”

Park Eun-su’s wife said, “The place where I acquired the lost card was not a gas station, but a raw fish restaurant. When her son came from abroad and went to her raw fish restaurant to order raw fish, she found the lost card in the yard of the raw fish restaurant and reported it. “The CCTV part was incorrect, and the person who lost the card said there was a record of the lost card being used at a gas station, and she was investigated as a reference because Park Eun-soo was driving,” he explained.

In particular, Park Eun-soo’s wife said, “My husband does not know much about this incident,”in response to Park Eun-soo’s previous phone call with OSEN, in which he said, “I returned all the money I spent,”and “I understand that (the agreement was concluded).””My husband cannot issue a card due to a series of incidents, so he uses my card or my daughter’s card, and when I was asked a question about the card, I think I misunderstood this and spoke,” she said, also denying the explanation given by her husband Park Eun-soo..
