Broadcaster Park Myung-soo expressed his envy over the considerable copyright fees of Won Tae-yeon, who wrote the lyrics for his hit song ‘To a Fool, a Fool’.

KBS Cool FM’s ‘Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Radio Show’), which aired on the 9th, featured poet and lyricist Won Tae-yeon as a guest on the ‘Legendary Master’ special. On this day, Park Myung-soo introduced him by saying, “For the past 15 years, every time I sing ‘A Fool to a Fool,’ my heart aches.” He added, “The person I am grateful to for writing the lyrics for this song is poet Won Tae-yeon.”

Won Tae-yeon recalled the time when she wrote the lyrics for ‘To a Fool’ and said, “The CEO of Park Myung-soo called me while taking a half-body bath at the hotel. “While telling the love story of Park Myung-soo and his wife, he said, ‘Isn’t it so sad?’” he said. “These are the lyrics that were completed before the half-body bath was over.” “I think it came out well because I wrote it without any pressure,” he said with a smile.

Park Myung-soo said, “This song entered the top 3 karaoke bars and continues to be loved. “Isn’t the copyright fee considerable?” he asked. Won Tae-yeon indirectly mentioned the considerable copyright fees, saying, “My last hit song was Huh Gak 13 years ago, and I can make a living without having to leave the house.” Park Myung-soo, who heard this, laughed with envy, saying, “I don’t get even a 10-won piece when I sing, but my stomach hurts.”
