It succeeded in differentiating itself from Western-style creatures as a Korean-style creature that took advantage of Korean sentiments, including many scenes where Shinpa was emphasized.

Three years later, the second story of ‘Sweet Home’ begins. ‘Sweet Home’ Season 2 is a world where desire becomes a monster. Song Kang (Hyeonsu) and the survivors of Green Home struggle to survive in a new home after leaving Green Home, as well as the appearance of another being and unknown mysterious phenomena. It is a work that depicts new desires, events, and struggles. A total of 8 episodes will be released on December 1st. Three episodes were pre-released to the media.

Korean sentiment that catches the eye

As expected, ‘Sweet Home”s organs were saved. The story that stems from the relationships between characters touches the hearts of viewers. Characters who unfortunately left the show in Season 1 also appear in flashback scenes, bringing back emotions that had been dead for three years. It primarily captures the love of family, with particular attention to maternal love. This soon leads to the message, ‘Who is the monster?’ This time, it was completed as a Korean-style creature film with less fear and tension than a Western-style creature film, but which made it even more heart-wrenching.

The attractions have become more spectacular. While last season depicted a story unfolding in a limited space, this time the stage was expanded to cover all of Seoul. As the world of ‘Sweet Home’ grows, the visuals shown by various characters are also something to see. Action cannot be left out. The scale of the fight against the Creatures expanded beyond the individuals within Sweet Home to include the military. Action scenes, such as a battle between ‘half man and half monster’ with special abilities, and a battle in a car with sparks flying, also attract attention.

Growth of Song Kang

Actors also play an active role. Song Kang, who was a rookie, portrayed the complex inner life of the main character, Hyeonsu, while also taking charge of the action scenes. Perhaps because the character stands between people and monsters, he also portrayed scenes that boasted rough visuals. When it comes to worries, we also don’t disappoint your expectations. There is nothing to throw away in the scenes where Go Min-si appears. Oh Jeong-se, a new addition this season, is also worth noting. Distracted composition is a disadvantage

In the previous season, a different main character was featured in each episode, and the relationships between the characters were gradually built up to help viewers become immersed. However, this season, many new leading actors such as Jinyoung, Yoo Oh-seong, Oh Jeong-se, and Kim Moo-yeol joined the cast, dispersing the power. There are many flashback scenes, but they are not enough to completely fill in the three-year gap.
