Instead of being boastful or thinking about being technical, I started from the beginning. “I started with the idea of going back to the most pure and passionate times,” he said.

The title ‘Glittering Watermelon’, which raised question marks from viewers, was revealed to have been inspired by Frida Kahlo’s painting ‘Viva La Vida (Long Live Life)’ and Coldplay’s song ‘Viva La Vida’. Also, “If you place both hands next to your ears and shake them, it becomes ‘clap’ in sign language, and if you clap backwards it becomes ‘watermelon’. “You could say it’s a silent cheer and applause to the youth,” he said, arousing interest.

Author Jin Soo-wan, who wants to talk about the importance of communication through ‘Sparkling Watermelon,’ said, “I think the important thing when communicating is conveying my true feelings and understanding the other person’s meaning.” He added, “The world of sound and silence, the world of me and my parents, “Please watch how the main character, Eun-gyeol, who lives in all those worlds, communicates and grows,” making the story of Eun-gyeol, the coda boy, even more anticipated.

Writer Jin Soo-wan, who is raising expectations by conveying hidden messages in the work, also said of the actors who played the characters, “All of the actors are so perfect, as if they ripped up the script and came out. He heaped praise on the cast, saying, “It’s the best casting.” Therefore, “many organically connected relationships appear, such as parents and children of the same age, grandmothers and grandchildren, youth in 1995 and youth in 2023, and relationships forged by riddles.” “It will be interesting to focus on that relationship,” he added.

In addition, it is making the heart flutter by predicting the fun of small deductions in a cheerful youth drama, saying, “It is also fun to find cute mysteries.” Curiosity is rising about what kind of story will unfold in ‘Glittering Watermelon’, which author Jin Soo-wan returns to the beginning.
