Actor Choi Hyun-wook presents a thrilling romantic performance with actress Seol In-ah, who plays the role of his first love in the play.

tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Sparkling Watermelon’ (written by Jin Soo-wan/directed by Son Jeong-hyeon and Yoo Beom-sang) released a preview video on September 11.

The video foreshadowed a drastic change in Se-kyung (Seol In-ah), Lee Chan’s (played by Choi Hyun-wook) first love during his high school days. The video begins in 1995 with the surprise comeback news that high school student Lee Chan’s first love, Se-kyung, to whom he intended to give his love, has returned from her study abroad trip. Se-kyung is seen cutting her long hair short, showing a strangely different mood compared to before she went on her way to study abroad, making people wonder what happened to her.

Se-kyung even draws attention by first approaching Lee Chan, who was always on the fence due to his busy schedule. The eyes of Eun-gyeol (played by Ryeo-eun), who is watching the unexpected reunion of the two, as well as Cheong-ah (played by Shin Eun-soo), who secretly likes Lee Chan, are shaking mercilessly. I am looking forward to what will happen between the four youths who come together.

Eun-gyeol, who was trying to act as a bridge between Lee Chan and Cheong-ah, asks Se-kyung, who intervened in his plan, the reason why he came back, saying, “How did this happen? Now.”On the other hand, Se-kyung responds with a calm face, “Is there any reason why I shouldn’t come back?” , confusing Eun-gyeol even more.

As if to stimulate Eun-gyeol, Se-kyung actively approaches Lee Chan and even suggests a date at an amusement park, making Lee Chan’s heart flutter. Lee Chan, who came to the amusement park with his favorite girl Se-kyung, puts a smile on his face and expresses happiness despite Eun-gyeol’s interference, making everyone laugh.

In addition, Se-kyung’s interest in Cheong-ah creates a sense of tension that something will change in the past of 1995. Cheong-ah also receives Se-kyung’s greeting and asks, ‘Can she be a friend?’, raising curiosity about how the relationship between the two girls will continue.

‘Sparkling Watermelon’ is a fantasy youth drama that unfolds when Eun-gyeol, a CODA boy with a natural talent for music, travels back in time to 1995 and joins a band with his childhood father Lee Chan. It will be aired for the first time on September 25th at 8:50 PM.
