According to OSEN’s coverage on the 21st, 1 Million, who attracted a lot of attention on Mnet’s ‘Street Woman Fighter 2’, will give a congratulatory performance at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards, which will be held at KBS Hall in Yeouido on the 24th.

According to OSEN coverage, 1 Million is scheduled to appear on the opening celebration stage of the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards. Following Holly Bang, who won the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2021, 1 Million is planning to appear at the Blue Dragon Film Awards this year and show off an all-time performance.

In the Best Picture category, which determines the best Korean film of the year, five works, ‘Cobweb’, ‘Daum Sohee’, ‘Smuggling’, ‘Owl’, and ‘Concrete Utopia’ are nominated and competing.

Those who took the lead in this year’s masterpieces were nominated for the Best Director award, including Kim Ji-woon (Cobweb), Ryu Seung-wan (Smugglers), Eom Tae-hwa (Concrete Utopia), Lee Han (Sweet Coast: 7510), and Jeong Ju-ri (The Next Sohee).

The candidates for the Best Actor Award include Do Kyung-soo (The Moon), Ryu Jun-yeol (The Owl), Song Kang-ho (The Spider’s Nest), Yoo Hae-jin (Sweet Coast: 7510), and Lee Byung-hun (Concrete Utopia). The nominees for the Best Actor Award are Kim Seo-hyung. (Vinyl House), Kim Hye-soo (Smuggling), Park Bo-young (Concrete Utopia), Yeom Jeong-ah (Smuggling), and Jeong Yu-mi (Sleep) compete against each other.

Candidates for the once-in-a-lifetime Rookie Award are also fierce. The Best New Director awards went to Ka Seong-moon (Dream Palace), Kim Chang-hoon (Hwaran), Ahn Tae-jin (Owl), Yoo Jae-seon (Sleep), and Lee Sol-hee (Vinyl House). Kang Tae-joo (The Noble Man), Kim Seon-ho (The Noble Man), Lee Shin-young (Rebound), Choi Min-young (Dream Palace), and Hong Sa-bin (Hwaran) were nominated for the Best New Actor Award. For the Best New Actress Award, Go Min-si (Smuggler), Kim Si-eun (Next Sohee), Kim Hyeong-seo (Hwaran), Ahn So-yo (Vinyl House), and Ahn Eun-jin (Owl) are nominated and compete for the trophy.

Meanwhile, the ‘Blue Dragon Film Awards’ is a film festival created with the purpose of improving the quality of Korean films and promoting the development of the film industry. Kim Hye-soo, who hosted a total of 30 episodes from 1993 to this year, bids a beautiful farewell to Cheongryong at the end of this year. Kim Hye-soo is expected to celebrate her death by working with Yoo Yeon-seok for the last time.

The 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards will be held at KBS Hall in Yeouido on the 24th and will be broadcast live on KBS2.
